A high school graduation party is truly a monumental event. It is a celebration of what you have accomplished and a send off into the next chapter of your life whether that is college or a career. When i think back to my own graduation party it brings back great memories. It was one of the last times i was together with the friends that i had spent the first 18 years of my life with. Life was care free then, and i believed that all of us would stay friends forever. How wrong i was, we all went to different colleges and most of us left our home town once we graduated. Sure we still keep in touch through text messaging and facebook but it will never be the same as the care free days that we spent together after graduating high school.
